ST PAUL, Minn. — A woman was injured when the car she was driving collided with a light rail train Sunday, according to Metro Transit.

Howie Padilla, a spokesperson with Metro Transit, said the collision happened at about 12:45 a.m. Sunday, at University and Eustis in St. Paul.

Padilla said the woman who was driving the vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries. There was no word as to whether anyone on the train was injured, but Padilla said no one was transported from the train.

Metro Transit police are investigating the crash.
