Making Strides Against Breast Cancer isn't just a walk. It's a movement to end breast cancer. When you sign up, you join thousands of people just like you who want to see a world where this disease doesn't exist.

The 'Making Strikes of the Twin Cities' walk is this Saturday, October 26 at Mall of America. On-site registration begins at 7 a.m. with the walk starting at 8 a.m.

Breast cancer survivor Shelli Thompson visited KARE 11 at 11 to talk about the walk, share her own personal story and encourage others to show up this Saturday.
