'Steps for Autism in Minnesota' fundraiser returns to Southdale Center to raise awareness

The state’s largest annual autism resource fair features more than 65 autism product and service organizations.

PLYMOUTH, Minn. — The Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM) family fun walk and resource fair, Steps for Autism in Minnesota 2019, will take place on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Southdale Center in Edina.

Registration is at 8:30 a.m. The event itself runs from 9:15 to 11 a.m. Families, businesses, organizations, and community groups are encouraged to build teams and raise money to support programs and services for individuals and families affected by autism in Minnesota.

The annual event also hosts the state’s largest annual autism resource fair. More than 65 autism product and service organizations will be on site sharing valuable information.

Dollars raised during Steps for Autism stay local by funding AuSM’s innovative programs and services including individual and group therapy, support groups, social skills classes, autism training, workshops, the state autism conference, summer camps and more.
