'Carry the Load' honors veterans

Carry the Load is a non-profit org profit organization that helps provide an active way to honor and celebrate our nation's heroes by connecting Americans to the sacrifice made by military, law enforcement, fire fighters, rescue personnel and their families.

MINNEAPOLIS - On Sunday May 6 'Carry the Load' invites people to join them at Gold Medal Pak at 11:45 a.m. where they will lead a march three miles Able Brewery.

Carry the Load is a non-profit org profit organization that helps provide an active way to honor and celebrate our nation’s heroes by connecting Americans to the sacrifice made by military, law enforcement, fire fighters, rescue personnel and their families.

They encourage all participants to carry something to honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice. It can be a photo, a rucksack, a flag, or a memory.

The celebration at Able Brewery at 1121 Quincy St. NE will include live music, food trucks, ice cream, local beer and is kid and dog friendly.

Flags for Fort Snelling will also be there collecting to place flags at every gravestone at Fort Snelling Cemetery.
