Minneapolis Sailing Center kicks off summer sailing season

Welcoming sailors of all abilities, they offer a range of educational, hands-on instruction for children as young as 4 through retirees.

Founded in 1989, the mission of Minneapolis Sailing Center is to foster an inclusive, sustainable community and to teach sailing to all. 

Welcoming sailors of all abilities, they offer a range of educational, hands-on instruction for children as young as 4 through retirees.

 A number of programs from summer camps to racing and varying membership levels have been created to build and inclusive sailing community on the Chain of Lakes. 

Entering their 30th year, the fleet, membership, and educational programs have all seen robust growth, with over 1000 attendees in the past year. Minneapolis Sailing Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and a member of US Sailing.

Join MSC this Saturday and Sunday, May 25 & 26 for the final High School regatta of the Spring. Visit our website to learn more about summer youth camps, adult lessons, membership, and private lessons as we celebrate our 30th anniversary. On June 1, MSC will host an open-day for anyone interested in learning more about their offerings. It will be complete with free sail boat rides on a first-come first-serve basis and grilled food while it lasts
