RECIPE: Edomae sushi nigiri platter

Just above Kado no Mise on the second floor, Kaiseki Furukawa is the first ever Kaiseki restaurant in this region of the United States.

Kado no Mise features simple and delicate Japanese dishes that Chef Shige learned when he first started cooking professionally in Tokyo. 

They are the first to serve truly authentic Edomae sushi in Minnesota. Kado no Mise, which translates to “Corner Restaurant,” opened in the spring of 2017.

Just above Kado no Mise on the second floor, Kaiseki Furukawa is the first ever Kaiseki restaurant in this region of the United States.

Kaiseki is a form of Japanese cuisine which draws its philosophy from tea ceremony traditions developed in 16th century Kyoto. At its core is the belief that we are at our best when we experience every moment with one another as if it were a once-in-a-lifetime gathering.
