RECIPE: Hangover pasta

The brunch service is available Saturdays and Sundays form 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Bungalow Club was started in April 2018 by two lifelong restaurant workers who followed their dreams of owning a neighborhood restaurant.

We highlight handmade pastas, craft cocktails and local ingredients.

We're now open for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

We also launched and weekly lasagne special on Sunday evenings.

"Hangover pasta"

Aka "Bucatini with Red Table salami, kale and soffritto"

1# bucatini pasta 

1/2# red table salami or similar dried cured salami, small diced or ground 

2 onions sliced thin 

1/2 cup garlic sliced

4 bunches Tuscan kale, chopped fine

1 cup soffritto

1 cup white wine 

1 quart heavy cream

Salt and lemon to taste

1) render out salami. Strain and reserve meat. 

2) in salami fat cook onions and garlic until lightly caramelized

3) add kale and soffritto.  Cook slowly until wilted and softened 

4) add salami back in. Deglaze with white wine. 

5) add heavy cream and reduce by half. 

6) cook pasta 

7) Add pasta and finish in sauce. 

8) season with salt and lemon juice.  Toss with Parmesan 

9) serve.
