KARE in the Kitchen: Chef Yia Vang's Thanksgiving tradition

Celebrity Chef Yia Vang shares one of his favorite Thanksgiving day recipes: Hmong steamed buns, which he learned from his mom. It's easy, quick and delicious!

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn — Chef Yia Vang, the creator of Union Hmong Kitchen, is one of several metro restaurateurs offering a Thanksgiving meal on pre-order for those who want to leave the cooking to the professionals.

The Thanksgiving Vinai Feast is a meal kit designed to serve three to four people, complete with Galobaos, smoked turkey leg, steamed snapper, Hmong sausage, chilled glass noodles, roasted root vegetables, amazing salad, fermented mustard greens, purple sticky rice and steamed buns!
