Nice Ride bikes return on Earth Day, free rides offered

Lyft's bike share program, Nice Ride Minnesota, will be returning to Minneapolis on Monday. Monday is Earth Day. In honor of the relaunch and Earth Day, Nice Ride is offering free rides to customers on Monday. To claim your free day pass, use the code EARTHDAY19 in the Nice Ride app. The free day pass gets you 24 hours of unlimited half-an-hour rides. The day pass is usually sold for $6.

Trade-in your car seat at Target to get discount starting Monday

Parents looking to trade in their children’s old car seats in or get rid of their old ones should mark their calendars. Target is holding a car seat trade-in at their stores across the country. People can bring their old car seats to a store from April 22 through May 4 and get a 20 percent off coupon for a new car seat, car seat base, travel system strollers and select baby home gear. The coupons are good through May 11. People can find a location near them here.

Celebrate Earth Day in the Twin Cities

While every day is a good day to take care of our planet, Earth Day is a special day set aside to promote environmental efforts. Although many Earth Day events were scheduled for over the weekend, there are still many plans for communities to get together and raise awareness about our effect on the planet.
