Women 'Crushing It' Wednesday: Amalli Talli

A Co-Founder of Amalli Talli talks about the clothing line's mission to empower tall women.

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Amy Rosenthal knows what it's like to step out into the world as a tall woman.

"I can’t go a day without somebody commenting on some aspect of my height," Amy says. "Day after day after day – that really takes a toll."

Amy is 6'4" and her sister Alli Black is 5'10".

"We ourselves have experienced a lifetime of shopping experiences that are frustrating," Amy says. "We were just so kind of overwhelmed with this feeling of wanting to make a difference that we decided it was time to give it a go."

Amy and Alli started the clothing line Amalli Talli, which caters to the needs and proportions for tall women and tall girls.

"We’ve really had an opportunity to connect with women all over the world," Amy says.

Amalli Talli was recently featured in an article by Women's Wear Daily and was selected as one of the best denim choices for tall women by Fab Fit Fun

"We really want to start a larger dialogue about body positivity as it relates to tall women," Amy says.
