HERMANTOWN, Minn. — Someone who bought a lottery ticket near Duluth for last night's Gopher 5 drawing is waking up Tuesday a millionaire.

The Minnesota Lottery says the ticket, sold at the Hermantown General Store in Hermantown, matched all five numbers: 4-14-23-31-34. The jackpot for last night's Gopher 5 drawing was worth $1,606,134.

The winner has not yet stepped forward.

And it's not just the ticket holder who will come out a bit better off financially. Hermantown General Store receives a $5,000 bonus for selling a winning ticket.

Since 1990, the Lottery has generated more than $3 billion for programs that impact the lives of Minnesotans. More than $1.2 billion has helped preserve, restore and protect the environment through the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund, Game and Fish Fund and the Natural Resources Fund.

Another $1.8 billion has helped fund state programs, including education, public safety and health and human services.
