One of the most popular New Year’s Resolutions people make is to finally ditch the job that no longer is giving them any satisfaction, and go out on their own; and if statistics recently released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics are any indication, quitting a job is something a lot of people will do in the New Year.
In October, 2.3 percent of workers, or 3.5 million people quit a job. The majority of the quits were in the health care and social assistance sectors.
