Doctor: Check-ups for kids are still important this fall

Dr. Eric Barth, a pediatrician at Allina Health, says seeing a child in person for a checkup could mean finding problems early.

Even though many kids will be learning from home this fall, parents should still make sure their children get a physical, yearly vaccines and a mental checkup. 

Many kids report feeling anxious, stressed or depressed because of the pandemic. 

Dr. Eric Barth, a pediatrician at Allina Health, joined KARE 11 News at 4 to explain why seeing a child in person for a checkup could mean finding any and all problems early on.
