Laser treatment targets snoring

Snoring health-related problems range from loss of sleep, to chronic headaches and obesity.

Snoring health-related problems range from loss of sleep, to chronic headaches and obesity.

Some dentists and physicians across the country are treating snoring with a less invasive state-of-the-art laser technology called NightLase.

• Just as the collagen in our skin breaks down and causes wrinkles, tissues on the inside are also affected. Lasers have been used for years to smooth and tighten sagging skin. This new laser technology, NightLase, is the first to apply the same concept to treat snoring.

• NightLase treatments are safe, gentle and effective at reducing the intensity and duration of snoring. About 80 percent of patients report noticeable improvement over time.
