GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Author Myrna Marofsky released a book sharing personal stories while caring for her husband Larry throughout his battle with dementia.
The book, titled "To The Last Dance: A Partner's Story of Living and Loving Through Dementia," details some of Marofsky's personal experiences as a wife, mother and grandmother.
According to The Alzheimer’s Association, more than three in five unpaid Alzheimer's caregivers are spouses, partners or children. Marofsky says her book speaks of "care-living" rather than "caregiving."
