GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Long before NFL Pro Bowler Larry Fitzgerald Jr., Olympic gold medalist John Shuster and basketball superstar Lindsay Whalen became household names in Minnesota, they were being instilled with the very attributes that would allow them to succeed.
The new book, Minnesota Made Me, reveals those attributes, plus the personal stories behind 38 of Minnesota’s most successful athletes and sports figures is launching on Thurs., Nov. 1, 2018, beginning at 7 p.m. at Summit Brewing Company, located at 910 Montreal Circle, St. Paul, MN 55102. All adults over 21 who purchase a book that evening will receive a ticket for a free beer.
