Allen is the owner of Posy Floral and Gifts in Montgomery, Minnesota, where you can also find non-traditional Valentine flowers. She suggests considering bulb gardens, mixed bouquets, or other plants for your sweetheart.
Allen also suggests keeping some fun in the holiday, by looking for cards and gifts for people with a great sense of humor.
