Celebrity fitness and nutrition expert Wendie Pett has these tips and tricks to stick to your diet and fitness plan. 

She says, you have to sit down and make a plan. Here are a few tips to stay healthy while on vacation.


  1. Plan on meals at your lodging to save on calories.
  2. Think about what you will swap out for an indulgence. Opt for lower calorie beverages like water or black coffee if you want a sweet treat. 
  3. A vacation is still a vacation while eating healthy. Choose healthy snacks like fruit and vegetables and hummus. 
  4. And get moving! Even while you are on vacation, you can get a workout in (or more than one – even better). Find things to do that get you up and moving – walking tours, swimming, hiking, etc.
