Help Hurricane Florence victims during American Red Cross Disaster Relief Telethon

The storm has passed, but the dangerous aftermath of Hurricane Florence is still causing problems on the East Coast. Join KARE 11 at Mall of America on Thursday to help those affected.

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - From flooding to storm damage, the effects of Hurricane Florence are still being felt along the East Coast.

One of the biggest needs right now is blood donations. With many blood donation center shutting down from the devastation and flooding, we have the opportunity to help through local drives and fundraisers.

Join KARE 11 at Mall of America on Thursday, September 20 for an all-day telethon, as well as a blood drive, supporting American Red Cross Disaster Relief, focusing on the victims of Hurricane Florence.

The drive runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will take place in the MOA North Parking Lot.

If you can't make it out to MOA, you can still help those in need. There will also be a telethon Thursday to help raise money for the American Red Cross.

15 telephone lines will be open from 6 a.m. - 7 p.m. in the MOA Rotunda. You can call 952-814-3300 to donate. You can also show your support on social media by using #MN4Florence.
