GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Across the metro, families in need benefit from your Toys for Tots donations each holiday season.

However, there is often a need for gifts for older children. That's why KARE 11 Sunrise is looking for donations for tweens and teens this year during the KARE 11 Toys for Tots campaign.

The hardest gifts for people to buy are toys for kids over 8 years old, according to the Marines, because oftentimes shoppers are unsure what to buy for that age group.

Here's a list of some options to keep in mind while doing your holiday shopping.
