HASTINGS, Minn. — The owner of a classic 1950's-era Chevy is asking for help in getting the beloved car back after it was stolen from a residence in Hampton Township.
Dakota County Sheriff's officials say the 1951 Chevy Coupe and the 24-foot Haulmark trailer it was in were taken February 4. The car is a restored black 2-door with a newer 'Crate' engine installed. The owner says while it does have financial value, the vehicle has significant sentimental value to the family.
Anyone who sees the '51 Chey or knows of its whereabouts is asked to call the Dakota County Sheriff's Office at 651-438-4727 or ext. 4700.
