Owner issues plea for return of stolen classic car

Dakota County Sheriff's officials say the 1951 Chevy Coupe and the 24-foot Haulmark trailer it was in were taken February 4. The car is a restored black 2-door with a newer 'Crate' engine installed.

The owner of a stolen 1951 Chevy Coupe says the car has sentimental value to his family.

HASTINGS, Minn. — The owner of a classic 1950's-era Chevy is asking for help in getting the beloved car back after it was stolen from a residence in Hampton Township.

Dakota County Sheriff's officials say the 1951 Chevy Coupe and the 24-foot Haulmark trailer it was in were taken February 4. The car is a restored black 2-door with a newer 'Crate' engine installed. The owner says while it does have financial value, the vehicle has significant sentimental value to the family.
