Pedestrian killed after being hit by vehicle in Minneapolis

Police say the victim was in his 50s and was hit while crossing the street at around 12:15 p.m. in the area of Northeast Lowry Avenue and Northeast Arthur Street.

MINNEAPOLIS — A man died after being hit by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon in Minneapolis.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, the victim was in his 50s and was hit while crossing the street at around 12:15 p.m. in the area of Northeast Lowry Avenue and Northeast Arthur Street. The man was transported to a local hospital where he later died. 

Police say the driver is cooperating.
