MENOMONIE, Wis. - A judge has sentenced a man who was found guilty of aggravated battery in connection with the death of a University of Wisconsin-Stout international student.

Last April, a Dunn County, Wisconsin jury found Cullen Osborn, 28, not guilty on a charge of second degree murder in the 2016 death of UW-Stout exchange student Hussain Saeed Alnahdi.

Osburn has been sentenced to four years in prison and another four years of extended supervision.

Osburn says the incident could have happened to anyone and it wasn't his fault.

The prosecution asked for seven years in prison and three years extended supervision.
