BELLE PLAINE, Minn. — The state patrol is reporting hundreds of crashes on Minnesota roads on Tuesday.
From 5 a.m. to noon, the state patrol says there were 232 crashes throughout the state, 28 of those with injuries and two of them serious injuries. There were also 113 vehicles spun out or off the road, and one jackknifed semi.
A series of accidents Tuesday morning on Highway 169 near Belle Plaine turned out to be unrelated, according to the state patrol. The state patrol said there were multiple crashes in the same area, but they were all separate. At least two people were transported to the hospital.
