A few food vendors have begun to partner with Minnesota breweries to bring special pairings exclusively for the fair.

The vendors who work the Minnesota State Fair spend countless hours dreaming up new food and beverage concoctions to introduce every year.

Now, a few food vendors have begun to partner with Minnesota breweries to bring special pairings exclusively for the fair.

  • Mancini’s al Fresco pairs its new Messy Giuseppe Sandwich (a blend of seasoned ground beef and Italian pork sausage smothered in marinara, sprinkled with parmesan cheese and served on crusty Italian bread) with Tsunami Spumoni from Bad Weather Brewing in St. Paul.
  • Shanghaied Henri’s pairs its Yucatan Tacos (chicken breast seasoned with chorizo spices, fresh garlic, cumin and oregano served in a soft taco shell with green cabbage, carrot slaw, queso fresco, pickled red onion and cilantro sour cream) with Helles Ya, You Betcha from Summit Brewing in St. Paul.
  • Giggles’ Campfire Grill Uffda Ale pairs its new Turducken Sausage Sandwich (a blend of turkey, duck and chicken served on a fennel bun and accompanied by a side of Giggles’ sweet and saucy relish) with Uffda Ale from Beaver Island Brewing in St. Cloud.
