MINNEAPOLIS - There is a way everyone can be a musician this summer. Downtown Minneapolis will feature outdoor pianos placed around town during the month of June.

"Pianos on Parade," is an effort of the Minneapolis Downtown Council and Minneapolis Downtown Improvement District in partnership with Keys 4/4 Kids, a non-profit that seeks to inspire young people through the arts and mentorship.

The pianos, each painted by local artists and include local themes, will be open for impromptu concerts. The pianos will be available for daily use June 1 - June 30. Each Tuesday, the pianos will be programmed over the lunch hour to provide music for those in the area.
