Police are searching for a bicyclist who vandalized a school bus Friday morning in Minneapolis.

The bus was stopped in a bike lane waiting to pick up the first student of the day when the bicyclist stopped and started breaking out bus windows and part of the windshield with a bicycle lock, according to police.

The incident occurred in the 3200 Block of Blaisdell Avenue.

The bus driver was not injured.

There were no students on the bus at the time of the incident. 

The suspect fled the scene, according to the police report.
