Driver crashes into U of M sorority

Police say that the driver was cited for underage drinking and careless driving.

MINNEAPOLIS — A driver crashed into the Alpha Chi Omega sorority building on the University of Minnesota campus on Monday night, according to Minneapolis police.

Authorities say that no one was hurt.

Police say that the driver was cited for drinking under the age of 21 and careless driving.

The SUV hit a bush before it reached the building, according to police. They say this helped prevent major damage to the sorority building.
