Biden's victory comes after Sen. Amy Klobuchar dropped out and endorsed the former VP one day before Super Tuesday.

The Associated Press and NBC News are projecting former Vice President Joe Biden will win Minnesota's Democratic primary.

The primary took place just one day after the only local candidate, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, ended her campaign and announced that she will support Biden.

Former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg dropped out the day before that, and is also endorsing Biden for president.

Earlier in the day, according to a statement from Secretary of State Steve Simon, the tool at pollfinder.sos.state.mn.us was temporarily inaccessible and a staff member was redirecting voters to a partisan website.

Simon said his office policy in this situation is to redirect voters to Google's nonpartisan Voting Information project.

"In an urgent attempt to restore service, a staff person diverged from our emergency plan and, in a serious lapse of judgment, linked to a partisan website that contained polling place information," Simon said in the statement. "The moment this error was discovered, we corrected the link. The link in question was active for approximately 17 minutes."

Officials say the link has been fixed and the link is operational.

According to the Minnesota DFL, the delegates are still being distributed.

Minnesota has 75 delegates to assign, out of more than 1,300 delegates up for grabs in the Democratic race on Super Tuesday.
