MINNEAPOLIS — Police responded to reports of a shooting that caused the Franklin Ave. light rail station to limit service Saturday afternoon.

Initial reports suggest the shooting happened near the 2200 block of E Lake St.

Police have a suspect in custody.

Officers believed the suspect had boarded the blue line, which disrupted light rail services at the Franklin Ave. station. 

Police said an adult male sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound and is being transported to Hennepin County Medical Center.
