Special needs bike stolen from Carver Co.

On June 9, the sheriff's office received a report that a green Rifton model 7 adult-sized tricycle was stolen from Norwood Young America. The tricycle is designed to be used by children with special needs.

NORWOOD YOUNG AMERICA, Minn. - The Carver County Sheriff's Office is asking for help in locating a special needs bike they believe was stolen early last month.

On June 9, the sheriff's office received a report that a green Rifton model 7 adult-sized tricycle was stolen from Norwood Young America. The tricycle is designed to be used by children with special needs.

The photo above was provided by law enforcement and is similar to the style reported stolen. Authorities say on Facebook that the actual bike has traditional bicycle handlebars and no backrest.
