Some roads in St. Paul closed after flooding

St. Paul Public Works closed Childs Road, which follows along the river and becomes Warner Rd, at 10 p.m. on Sunday night. Warner and Shephard Roads are closed from Childs Road to Ontario Street. This stretch was closed Sunday night at 10 p.m. and will be closed until March 31. Sibley Street was closed on Sunday night at 10 p.m. from Shepard Road to Kellogg Boulevard. That closure will end on March 31. Jackson Street was closed on Sunday night at 10 p.m. from Shepard Road to Kellogg Boulevard. That closure will end on March 31. 2nd Street was closed on Sunday night at 10 p.m. from Kellogg Boulevard to Sibley Street. That closure will end on March 31. Water Street and Lillydale Road from the St. Paul Yacht Club to Highway 13 have been closed since March 14. They will be closed until April 12.

Gun safe recalled because lock can fail, allowing access to guns

A brand of gun safes sold nationwide is under recall because of a malfunction that can allow someone to open it without a key or combination, giving anyone access to the firearms inside. The Stack-On Sentinel gun safe has a bolt malfunction, according to the voluntary recall by Alpha Guardian. It was sold at Dick's Sporting Goods from November 2018 through December 2018 for about $700.

MN lawmakers respond to the Mueller report summary

A number of Minnesota lawmakers responded Sunday to the Justice Department's summary of the results of special counsel Robert Mueller's report, including Rep. Jim Hagedorn, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Rep. Betty McCollum, Rep. Angie Craig and Sen. Tina Smith. The Democrats all called for the release of the full report, while Republican Hagedorn called the report "a shameful waste of tax dollars."
