BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. - Seth Damsgard is a golf entrepreneur at just 9-years-old.
The young golfer turned his passion for the game into putting together yardage books for local golf courses.
Seth and his dad, Chris got the idea last summer while he was competing in local tournaments and writing down yardages.
To get the ball rolling they needed a little financial backing for their project, so they turned to Kickstarter and with the help of family and generated the funds necessary to start the business.
It usually takes about 20 hours per course to complete each yardage book.
They hope to have yardage books available at a half dozen Twin Cities public courses by the end of July.
Seth's hoping to use the profits from the business to help fund tournament fees, lessons and equipment.
