BLAINE, Minn. — The Blaine boys high school hockey team is currently riding a 17-game winning streak heading into the opening day of the Class AA state tournament on Thursday at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

Blaine has been a powerhouse all season long, with an overall record of 22-2-2. They are led by Mr. Hockey Award nominee Bryce Brodzinski who has 35 goals and 49 assists on the season.
