Emotional Robison returns to Minnesota to retire as a Viking

Brian Robison's reflects on his 11-year career with the Minnesota Vikings.

EAGAN, Minn. — Brian Robison was emotional Wednesday afternoon as he reflected on his 11-year career with the Minnesota Vikings.

The team signed Robison to a ceremonial one-day contract earlier this month, allowing him to retire with the same squad he spent his whole career with.

Robison’s press conference was a trip down memory lane. He reflected on his draft-night conversation with his wife, a missed opportunity in 2009, how 2017’s team was the best he ever played on, and how he will always cherish his time in Minnesota.

Robison was emotional when talking about his former teammates and coaches – especially defensive line coach Andre Patterson and head coach Mike Zimmer.

Many of B-Rob’s former teammates were in attendance for his address.

Robison played 173 career games for the Vikings and record 60 sacks.

An avid fisherman, B-Rob now plans on hosting a Youtube show and spending time with his family.

Check out the video to hear from him.
