Minnesota native Carlie Wagner is living her dream of donning a Lynx jersey.
As the final pick of the WNBA Draft, Wagner has her work cut out for her though if she wants to catch on with the team.
So far, Wagner's done her best to learn on the fly at training camp, and she's embracing the opportunity to not only team up with fellow Gopher Lindsay Whalen: but to learn from her as well.
Wagner, who was a stand out at NRHEG before becoming the Gophers' third all-time leading scorer, is embracing her new role as an underdog.
"I actually like it," Wagner said. "It's pushing me and making me better. I feel like I've grown a lot in just the last couple of weeks. I'm going to push myself harder than I've ever had to."
