MINNEAPOLIS - In a tune-up for the 2019 Final Four, U.S. Bank Stadium will host its first ever basketball event this winter, featuring seven regional teams and a Big Ten vs. Big 12 match-up.
Dubbed the U.S. Bank Stadium Basketball Classic, the four-game event will be held Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1 with a marquee billing between the University of Minnesota and Oklahoma State University.
"We couldn't be more excited to take part in the U.S. Bank Stadium Basketball Classic," said Minnesota head coach Richard Pitino. "The opportunity to play in the first basketball event at a state-of-the-art venue against a tremendous opponent in Oklahoma State was too good to pass up. I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of Maroon and Gold among the purple seats in November."

- Univ. of St. Thomas vs. Univ. of Wisconsin-River Falls (Nov. 30 - Time TBA)
- Univ. of Minnesota vs. Oklahoma State (Nov. 30 - Time TBA)
- North Dakota State Univ. vs. Drake Univ. (Dec. 1 - Time TBA)
- South Dakota State Univ. vs. Univ. of Northern Iowa (Dec. 1 - Time TBA)
Tickets for the U.S. Bank Stadium Basketball Classic go on sale Friday, August 10 at 10 a.m. and are available for two-day or single-day packages. Single-day tickets start at $15. All tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com.
