GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Throughout the season, five of the top high school performances will be featured in the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Twin Cities Performances of the Week.
Erin Poepping / Totino-Grace / Softball
The senior pitcher picked up her seventh win of the season in the Eagles’ 2-0 victory over Elk River. Poepping went 4-for-5 from the plate with three RBI and three runs scored as well.
Tanner Berwald / St. Croix Lutheran / Baseball
The senior pitcher allowed two hits and struck out 10 batters in six scoreless innings of work in the Crusaders’ 11-0 win over Concordia Academy. Berwald went 2-for-4 from the plate with two RBI and two runs scored.
Isaac Peifer / Eagan / Lacrosse
The junior attacker had three goals and three assists in the Wildcats’ 17-2 win over Holy Angels. In Eagan’s three victories last week, Peifer tallied ten goals and five assists.
Reagan Roelofs / Apple Valley / Lacrosse
The junior midfielder scored five goals and had two assists in the Eagles’ 21-3 win over Minneapolis. In three games last week, Roelofs recorded 13 goals and six assists.
Denzel Brown / Eden Prairie / Track & Field
The senior sprinter set a Hamline Elite Meet record in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10:53. Brown took home first place in the 200 meter dash and was part of the winning 4x100 relay team.
