FORT MYERS, Fla. — Kenta Maeda is already turning heads at Spring Training. The right-handed pitcher acquired in a trade with the LA Dodgers is a big time boost to the Minnesota Twins’ starting rotation.

The 31-year-old from Japan has been adjusting nicely to his new team and surroundings, although the language barrier makes it a bit of a challenge to interview him.

KARE 11 Sports Director Eric Perkins, utilizing a cutting edge piece of translating technology called Pocketalk, is able to break down the barrier and get Maeda’s thoughts on the upcoming season.
