MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Twins have announced plans for their first 30 theme nights at Target Field during the 2020 season. Each night is dedicated to a certain group, cause, or pop culture phenomenon.

New theme nights for 2020 include Sesame Street Day on April 26, featuring a special Twins t-shirt honoring the long-running children's program.

The Twins will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the neighboring First Avenue music venue on July 28, with a ticket package that includes a co-branded Twins and First Avenue jersey.

The 90's sitcom "Friends" will be featured on September 4, with a Friends-themed T.C. bobblehead.

Several other theme nights will be returning events, including nights honoring colleges and universities in the region, fellow pro sports teams, and fundraising efforts on Cancer Awareness Night and Love Your Melon Night.

Pride Night will also return in 2020, with fans able to customize their Pride Night Twins jersey with personal pronouns of their choice.

Fans will receive special theme night items with the purchase of a special theme night ticket package. Those packages will be limited in quantity and the Twins expect them to sell out, according to a press release.

Theme night ticket packages can be purchased on the Minnesota Twins website.
