Vikings fans remain loyal, despite defeat

Even after Sunday's disappointing loss, plenty of fans still showed up and said they have faith in the team.

MINNEAPOLIS — What a difference a week can make. Last Monday, Vikings fans were basking in the glow of victory over the Bills. This week brings utter disappointment.

But win or lose, Fan HQ Owner Shaun Hagglund is showing up cautiously optimistic.

"After that amazing catch and winning the last game, I think expectations were through the roof and I think this just settled us back down to where we are now,” Hagglund said.

Even with Sunday's disappointing loss, plenty of fans still showed up and said they have faith in the team.

"I'm not worried. Not worried," Julie Zemke said.

“Maybe it's good that everything went wrong in one game, and they got it all out of their system. And now we can move forward, win the division and go deep into the playoffs,” Hagglund said.

Ben Theis was at both games, Nov. 13 against the Bills in Buffalo, and Sunday's loss to the Cowboys at home.

"I'm not going to lie. It's pretty surreal and unfortunate to go from literally one of the best games, last week, to honestly probably the worst,” Theis said. "How I'm feeling is... I hope you guys have a bleep button.”

And Chrissie Pechuman has an interesting theory.

"They ate their turkey dinner early. That's what I'm saying,” Pechuman said.

If you're still feeling down, Hagglund makes a good point to consider.

"I think if you asked anybody, before the season, if they'd be happy with 8-2 after 10 games, they would be A-okay with that,” Hagglund said.
