ST. PAUL, Minn. - His passion for the purple might be rubbing off on the Minnesota Wild.

Vikings superfan Obadiah Gamble was asked to deliver the traditional "Let's Play Hockey" chant before the Wild's home tilt against the Blues.

Later Fox Sports North's Kevin Gorg interviewed the 7-year-old from St. Paul.

"I was nervous," Gamble replied when asked about how much fun it was to do the "Let's Play Hockey" call.

Was it more fun doing that or having Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater come to your birthday party?

"Teddy...because he's famous," Gamble said.

Just as Gorg was wrapping the interview, Minnesota's Nino Niederreiter scored to make it 2-0, Wild. Gamble's reaction to the goal was priceless.

The Wild partnered with Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota Sunday night. Gamble is a former patient.
