MINNEAPOLIS - Construction crews at U.S. Bank Stadium have installed the final seats.
According to the Vikings, it took just nine months to install more than 58,000 fixed seats.
Plus, there are nearly 6,000 retractable seats.
The stadium will have a total capacity of 66,200 and will open for the 2016 Vikings season. And fear not - officials say you'll have plenty of space.
"You are going to feel a lot more space. They are larger than the old dome seats. Anywhere from an inch to an inch and a half wider than all of the old dome seats. I think people are going to feel much more comfortable," said Michele Kelm-Helgen, chair of the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority.
Kelm-Helgen also said they are on schedule to open the stadium near the end of July.
