Snowstorm moves Gophers spring game indoors, closed to fans

The University of Minnesota football team will play its annual spring game at the team’s indoor football facility at Athletes Village.

Due to the weather, the Gophers had to move their spring game at 11 a.m. Saturday from TCF Bank Stadium to their indoor practice facility at Athletes Village.

Due to limited crowd space, the game will no longer be open to the public, according to a news release.

Gophers head coach P.J. Fleck said that the team will hold a fan-friendly event during training camp.
