ST PAUL, Minn. — Minnesota United coaches and players walked onto the pitch at their new home for the first time when the club held an official practice at Allianz Field on Wednesday.

“It’s going to be home for a long, long time,” said head coach Adrian Heath. “Two years ago, it was sort of a dream and now it’s become a little bit more of a reality when you get in the locker room, suddenly now players can see where they are going to change, what they are going to do.”

After posting a 2-2 record to start the season, the Loons close out a five-game road trip against New York Red Bulls on Saturday before returning to Minnesota for the home opener on April 13.
