STILLWATER, Minn. — The Stillwater Ponies’ clinched a spot in the Class 4A state field. Last year the Ponies won the state title with the help from star pitchers Will Frisch and Drew Gilbert. Yesterday, the both of them were drafted by the Minnesota Twins.  Pitcher Drew Gilbert was selected in the 35th round, and pitcher Will Frisch in the 36th round.  They both have signed to play college ball with the defending NCAA champion Oregon State University.  They plan to continue their dreams of college baseball and to uphold their agreement with Oregon State.  

 

The pitchers aren’t quite ready to start looking forward to the start of their next journey, they have their eyes set on repeating for the Class 4A state title.
