The Knights took down Shakopee 30-25 for the class 3A state team championship Thursday night.

The Sabers ended Apple Valley's 12-year run as state champs with a win in sections.

STMA shared a state title with the Eagles in 2013.

A decision from Nolan Schmitz at 220 officially slammed the door on Shakopee.
