MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota Twins pitcher Trevor May swapped his baseball glove for a gaming controller on Tuesday.
May, an avid video game fanatic, joined T-Wolves Gaming at Mayo Clinic Square to discuss the rise of esports and May’s experience as a professional athlete and streamer.
“This is pretty cool, I didn’t know what to expect,” said May. “I’ve walked by a couple of times, peeked in here, you can notice these computers if you are around them a lot. It’s pretty cool to get in here and see what these guys get to work with on a daily basis.”
