Wild clinches sixth consecutive playoff berth

For the sixth consecutive season, the Minnesota Wild have clinched a Stanley Cup playoff berth.

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Minnesota Wild have clinched a Stanley Cup playoff berth for the sixth consecutive season after their win against the Oilers and a loss by the Avalanche.

The schedule for Round 1 of the playoffs is expected to be announced Sunday, April 8. There is a three-game western road trip ahead of the Wild, but at this point it appears they will open the playoffs against Winnipeg.

Ticket availability at Xcel Energy Center is expected to be "extremely limited" according to the team due to the demand and priority access given to season ticket holders.
