Wild head coach Boudreau coaches up juniors with Minnesota Blue Ox

Boudreau helped found the Minnesota Blue Ox program and now his son his helping guiding them on the ice this season.

COON RAPIDS, Minn. —

The Minnesota Blue Ox are just junior but practice on Tuesday had an NHL flair.

Wild head coach and part owner of this program, Bruce Boudreau led drills.

It was an adjustment for him in terms of speed and skill. Growing the game has been a focal point of his time in Minnesota.

The Wild are off currently thanks to the NHL All-Star break.

Boudreau's youngest son Brady is just beginning his coaching career and is helping the Blue Ox this season.

With the help of this hockey family, this franchise continues to grow.
